Radar404 alternatives: which Shopify redirect app fits which store
Nine Shopify redirect apps compared with Radar404, app by app: what each one does differently, what it costs, and when to pick it instead.
You know what Radar404 does: it catches 404s as visitors hit them and turns them into redirects. For each alternative on the Shopify App Store, it gives the concrete reason to install it instead. Ratings, review counts and prices are as of September 26, 2026, in USD. If you would rather start from your need than from Radar404, our ranking of the best Shopify redirect apps sorts them that way.
Radar404's scope and its limits
Shopify's own redirect tool creates exact redirects by hand. It does not report 404s, and its help page on URL redirects points merchants to third-party apps when they need a large number of redirects. That gap is where Radar404 and every app below compete.
Radar404 loads a beacon on your 404 page only and logs each broken URL in real time. Its AI compares the URL to your real catalog and suggests the closest existing page with a confidence score. Above the threshold, it creates a permanent redirect right away. It also redirects archived or deleted products automatically and supports wildcard patterns with captures. The redirects it creates are native Shopify redirects, so they stay after uninstall.
Three things it does not do: it does not crawl your site for broken internal links, it cannot redirect a page that still loads, and it has no geographic redirects. The listing also shows 0 reviews: the app launched on July 28, 2026.

App by app: when to pick another one
404/301 SC Easy URL Redirects
Shop Circle's app has the longest track record here: launched in 2017, rated 4.7 from 299 reviews, with the Built for Shopify badge. The free Basic plan handles bulk redirects for 404s. Pro ($14.99/month) adds automatic 404 detection, alerts and redirect patterns. Pro+ ($39.99/month) adds AI redirects, redirects of live pages and subdomains. Pick it if you need to redirect pages that still load, or if a long review history matters to you.
SEOWILL 404 Link Redirect
Formerly SEOAnt, rated 4.7 from 185 reviews. Its free plan includes a site scan, 301 redirects, 10 new 404s, target suggestions and a daily report. Pro ($7.99/month or $60/year) adds real-time tracking and one automated redirect pattern. Pick it if you want a crawl without paying. Our guide to a Shopify broken link checker explains why a crawl finds links that 404 tracking misses.
Redirect Hero
Rated 5.0 from 156 reviews, launched in May 2024. There is no free plan. Regular costs $2.90/month for real-time tracking and manual 301s. Pro+ costs $4.90/month and adds live redirects, automatic redirects, a redirect pattern and CSV import. Pick it for the cheapest live-page redirects in this list.
Redirect Ninja
Rated 4.8 from 64 reviews. The free plan tracks 10 404s. Pro ($9.99/month) adds wildcard redirects. Business ($39.99/month) adds AI and an internal link scan. Pick it for a large migration where you want crawl and patterns under one plan.
404/301 URL Redirects by Nabu
Rated 4.7 from 55 reviews. The free Explorer plan gives unlimited detection and redirects, CSV import and export, and up to 3 wildcard or regex redirects. It is the only listing that puts a number on regex in a free plan. Advanced ($7.99/month) adds geo redirects, AI and unlimited wildcards. Pick it if you sell in several countries and want redirects by location, or if you write regex.
Ablestar Link Manager
Rated 5.0 from 5 reviews, on the store since 2017. Ablestar is a site crawler first. Basic ($10/month) runs 10 scans a month on up to 1,000 pages, with scheduled scans and 5 wildcard redirects. Professional ($20/month) raises that to 50 scans, 10,000 pages and 50 wildcard redirects. No free plan. Pick it if you want your store checked on a schedule.
Three smaller apps
Redirect Pro (4.7, 18 reviews) offers pattern rules and live redirects on its free plan, which tracks 10 404 visits a month. Doc404 (5.0, 5 reviews) sells a one-time Lifetime plan at $119; its Premium plan lists a client-side JavaScript redirect, and Google recommends server-side redirects whenever possible. Routify (5.0, 1 review) is free and lists pattern redirects, an internal link scan, redirect chain detection and a Google Search Console import. It launched in May 2026.
Choose by what you need
Start from the gap you need to fill: crawl, live pages, location, regex or review history.
Crawl: SEOWILL, Ablestar or Routify. Pages that still load: Redirect Hero or SC Easy Pro+. Country-based redirects or regex: Nabu. Whole URL families after a migration: most apps above offer patterns, and our guide to Shopify wildcard redirects shows how to write them.
When Radar404 is still the right pick
Radar404 fits a store that wants every real 404 caught as it happens and fixed with a page from its own catalog, with redirects that stay native. The free plan detects unlimited 404s and includes 3 AI suggestions a month. Starter costs $5/month for automatic redirects, 100 AI suggestions and 5 wildcard patterns. Pro costs $24/month for unlimited redirects, AI auto-acceptance and tracking of search engine bots. Paid plans come with a 14-day trial.
